OFFICIAL: Courtois confirmed by Real

"Real Madrid C.F. and Chelsea F.C. have agreed the transfer of Thibaut Courtois, who has signed for the club for the next six seasons," the statement read.
"After the medical that will take place tomorrow, Thursday 9 August, the player will be presented at 1pm in the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
"Subsequently, Courtois will go out on the pitch at the Santiago Bernabéu for the first time wearing the Real Madrid C.F. jersey and will speak to the media in the press room."
The transfer ends Florentino Perez's long search for Iker Casillas' successor, and has paved the way for Kepa's world record move to Chelsea. As part of the deal, Mateo Kovacic has also moved to Chelsea on a year-long loan.
Courtois was keen to move back to the Spanish capital, as his family are still based there following his spell with Atletico, and in an amusing twist of fate, he could get his first taste of Real Madrid action against his former side. Real play Atleti in the UEFA Super Cup next Wednesday.
