Good news for Arsenal. The Gunners announced through an official statement on social media on Thursday morning the renewal of Ben White. The England full-back has signed a new contract with the London club that will see him committed until June 2028.
"Ben White has signed a new contract with the club, committing his long-term future with us. Since joining us from Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2021, Ben has established himself as a key member of the team, making 122 Arsenal appearances in all competitions," reads the statement.
Gunners coach Mikel Arteta praised the renewal of White, who has become a key player in the Spaniard's plans. "It’s great news that Ben is committing his future to the club. Ben is a key player for us, a top professional with a winning mentality, and one of the guys who leads by example every day," he said.
"Ben’s ability, determination and positive attitude are so important, but he is also a great character and human being. We all look forward to continue working with Ben in the coming years, concluded the Spanish coach.
The 26-year-old defender has made 39 official appearances this season, 34 of them starts, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
