This is what he said at the end of the match. "Not even the referees committee know when you have to give a handball. It's strange. We players don't even know. We can only abide by the referees and VARs' decisions and that's it," Carvajal complained on 'Movistar+'.

On the match itself, Carvajal lamented the fact his team wasted so many chances. "We wasted too many in the first half. We have given away few and they've scored a great goal. It's true that we are struggling to score goals," he admitted.
"The team got worse as the game went along and when the goal came, we were eager to score so we looked for the most direct route to goal and that wasn't the way," the Real Madrid defender added.
And he ended up resigned to the fact his team had lost top spot. "A week ago we were three points ahead and now we are two points behind. Now we have to think about Wednesday and turns things around. Then we will think about Sunday's match after Wednesday," Dani Carvajal concluded.
