Luka Modric has recieved a special pair of custom made Nike boots to commemorate his Ballon d'or success this week.
The Croatian, widely tipped to receive the most coveted individual honour in the game, collected the trophy in Paris on Monday night.
He would later recieve a special pair of boots from manufacturer Nike, which feature a special design that recognise his achievement.
Upon winning the award this week, Modric ended the ten year duopoly of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on the Ballon d'or, and as such, Nike though it appropriate to produce a special pair of footwear to celebrate the achievement.
The boots are white, the colour of Modric's club team Real Madrid, and have a gold trim, matching the colour of the famous prize.

Proud club side Real Madrid posted a video of Modric, who was visibly emotional, receiving his award for the first time.
The player himself then posted a picture on his personal instagram page, thanking Nike for the custom boots.
Although the decision to give the award to Modric has caused an outcry; as many players in previous seasons had done more and not won the trophy, the Croatian opted to dedicate his triumph to those past players that missed out on the award.
Modric captained Croatia to the World Cup final, and helped Real madrid to a third consecutive Champions League crown last season, and was rightly awarded all three of the top individual honours for the 2018 calendar year.
