Neither Dembele nor Barca give in and talks over future stall

Tired of the uncertainty, Ousmane Dembele is desperate to finally end speculation. He wants to end with doubts and decide where he will be next season. 

Dembele has reportedly told Xavi that he wants to continue to play under him. The coach has reportedly urged him to accept Barca's renewal offer. 

Despite everything, talks over a new contract have stalled. The thing is that, according to 'Mundo Deportivo', neither of the two parties are budging at all. 

Dembele, according to the Catalan paper, wants to stay, but not with the conditions Barca have on the table. The Frenchman believes that he deserves a greater salary and that he does not agree with the Barca proposal he has in his hands. 

If Dembele's position cannot be moved, the stance of the Barca board is even more rigid. At Barca they are clear: if he wants to stay, they are going to have to say yes to the latest offer he had. Otherwise, he could back his bags. 

The offer, according to 'Mundo Deportivo', is still on Dembele's table. There is still the option of accepting it, although that would mean that the footballer has to vastly reduce his financial demands. 

As soon as his holidays finish, Dembele will decide. The saga continues, but the Frenchman wants it to end. His priority is to get back to work to be 100% for the new season and the World Cup takes place at the end of the year.
