Bayern Munich will not have Müller available for the Club World Cup final against Tigres due to a coronavirus positive, according to the German club.
Media outlets such as 'Sky' and 'Bild' spoke about the positive of the German international forward, who will not be able to play in the big final on Thursday.
Müller is asymptomatic and is well. The CAM is considered as one of the key Bayern players and has played 28 out of 29 official matches this season, scoring 12 goals and getting 16 assists.
Müller is also a kind of messenger for coach Hansi Flick on the pitch, constantly giving instructions to his team-mates and often leads the high pressure to win the ball back.
Among the players to take his spot are Jamal Musiala, Corentin Tolisso and Leroy Sané. According to the magazine 'Bild', Müller did three tests. He tested positive in the first one, the second he was negative and tested positive again in the third one.
The rest of the Bayern players' tests were negative. The positives of Javi Martínez and Leon Goretzka, who didn't travel to Qatar, are already some time old, so contagion by this route is unlikely.
