According to the 'Sun', Jose Mourinho has told Man Utd that he is not concerned over David De Gea not yet signing a contract renewal with the club as he enters the final year of his deal.
The same source claims that Mourinho is surprised that the renewal has taken as long as it has, given that negotiations between the club and player's representatives have gone on for the whole summer, with a solution still not being found.
The Spoanish goalkeeper is hoping to get a salary of around €400,000 per week. Such a wage would see him join Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez among the highest earners at the club.
After the transfer of Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid, rumours that De Gea will return to his native Madrid have calmed significiantly, meaning that United can be more confident that he will extend his deal with them,
