Moore confident that 'Baggies' can cope with tactical changes

Less than a month agao, West Brom were scoring goals for fun, in a run that saw them close to within one point of the Championship leaders. 

However since then, manager Darren Moore has had a tendency to tinker with his team selections and formations, and as such, the 'Baggies' have somewhat fallen from such lofty heights. 

The midlands side have notched an impressive 33 goals to date, more than any other Championship side. Yet Moore's tendency to interchange formations from a 3-1-4-2 to a back four in the middle of some matches has coicided with a slump in form. 

Consequently, West Brom have only managed to muster one point from a possible 12, and have now fallen away from the top six. 

In spite of this, Darren Moore has insisted that his squad can cope with his tactical alterations, claiming that he is simply reacting to what other teams do against his side during any given match. 

After the defeat to Hull City at the weekend, Moore said: "Out of the 16 games, 10 of the teams have changed formations against us. Do I stick with one out-and-out formation? No. The key is to have two or three different formations that you can flick to because you are always trying to win a match."

He continued: "'I switched to a four at the back to try to get some sort of momentum in the game. I can play a four, I can play a three. We've worked on both systems and shapes. The players are adaptable to it."

Some would argue that Moore should have opted for continuity in the midst of the side's previous top form, however the West Brom boss looks set to continue his mid-match alterations for the time being.
