The player's agent Mino Raiola claimed that Mkhitaryan held the key to Sanchez's move to Old Trafford and is in no hurry to leave Manchester United for Arsenal.
In fact, as reported by 'Mirror', Raiola has laid out a set of demands including a pay rise on his £150,000-a-week wages and a "golden handshake" to leave United.
Arsenal remain confident the deal will be completed this week despite being held ransom by the Armenian's financial demands.
The Gunners want a player-plus-cash deal but with both players valued at £35million and due to their respective contractual situations it is shaping up be a straight swap.
