Milan clubs set to be boosted by up to three new arrivals

The two sides have been in pursuit of quality new additions all summer but have been largely frustrated in their attempts to add to their squads.

However, their hard work is finally set to pay off with both sides expected to confirm an arrival later on Monday.

Inter are close to securing Monaco forward Keita Balde, with the player having arrived in Italy on Sunday to put the finishing touches to his move, whilst Chelsea's Tiemoue Bakayoko reportedly underwent a medical with AC Milan on Monday morning as he closes in on an initial loan switch.

Meanwhile, there are strong reports in Italy that AC have also made a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

'TuttoSport' is among the publications to carry the story, with them claiming that the two clubs have been in contact over a deal for the man many consider to be Serie A's best midfielder.

The likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus have all been linked with the Serbian international in the past, though there remains the small matter of agreeing a fee for the player.

The main issue at present is that Lazio value their crown jewel at €120m, a fee that Milan cannot affort to pay in one hit. Therefore, the club are thought to have proposed an initial loan move with a €40m loan fee, with an obligation to turn the deal permanent for a further €80m at the end of the season.
