Middlesbrough enquire over QPR's Freeman

The Teessiders are desperate to add some creative spark in midfield ahead of next week's transfer deadline and have identified the former Arsenal trainee as the perfect man to do just that.
QPR are known to be desperate to hang on to their star man, with chairman Tony Fernandes insisting this week that the 26-year-old isn't for sale.
Freeman was statistically one of the most creative players in the Championship last season and has scored seven goals in 61 games for 'Rangers' since joining the club for a bargain £350,000 from Bristol City in January 2017.
Despite Middlesbrough's interest, it is believed that Freeman will travel with the QPR squad for the season opener against Preston on Saturday.
