Messi gave an extensive interview to 'Radio 94.7 Club Octubre' in which he eulogised rival Cristiano Ronaldo, to the surprise of many. Among other questions, the Argentine was questioned on words spoken by Mauro Icardi months ago.
"We feel comfortable with everybody. It's something very beautiful. The past is the past and there has never been so much friendship and brotherhood. I hope that it can continue", affirmed the Inter Milan forward.
And Messi spoke similarly. "I don't know what Icardi's said. We only played two matches together because I've been injured a lot. There are better and younger people and this doesn't mean that everything is bad. Everyone does their bit for the group", he said.
"I saw Heinze, Ayala and Riquelme, and I wasn't close to them, but it wasn't bad. I don't know what Icardi has wanted. We never treat anybody badly", Messi concluded.
