Messi scored more goals than Ronaldo

Messi scored last saturday two goals against Leganes and surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo, for now, in their eternal rivalry.
The Barcelona player scored 262 goals, while the Real Madrid player scored 261 goals. Ronaldo has to wait until he can surpass the Argentine as he doesn't play today in Madrid's match against Espanyol.
The Argentine netted his 262 goals in 243 La Liga games, while the Portuguese scored 261 goals in 237 matches. This means CR7 has the better statistics: he scored 1.10 goals per game, as Messi scored just 1.07 per game.
Regarding the titles, the Barca forward wins. Messi won five times La Liga with his team in seven times they were in the final (71.4%) and Ronaldo won just once (14.2%). The other title won Atletico Madrid once.
Messi, since he made his La Liga debut in 2004, won 29 titles and scored ever since 461 goals. He netted 316 of them in La Liga, 86 in the Champions League, 39 in the Copa del Rey, 12 in the Spanish Super Cup, three in the Spanish Super Cup and five for the national team.
