"Messi is the only player who could be ahead of Saka"

Bukayo Saka is about to extend his contract with Arsenal. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the young English winger will sign an extension "very soon" after reaching a verbal agreement in February.

Ex-Gunner's captain Tony Adams will be happy for this to happen, as he praised him to 'The Sun'. "If there's a better player in world football at the moment, the only one I can think of is Lionel Messi", he claimed.

What's more, Adams highlighted how important the feeling of belonging to the club was: "Like me, he's an Arsenal fan born in London who trained in the academy and has the club's blood running through his veins".

"Bukayo Saka is completely on fire and he's the reason why Arsenal are at the top of the table", the ex-player said about the London club after the great performances the Brit has put in.
