Messi: 9 months without a 'winning goal'

Leo Messi scored the only goal of a match against a Levante that Barcelona should have won long before and that they almost ended up drawing. The Argentine did everything in the match, although it was clear that he isn't experiencing his best moment.
After several inaccuracies, but also after having the best chances of the match, he appeared to receive from De Jong and score from the one on one with Aitor, against whom he hit a crossed and accurate shot from inside the area.
Despite being used to being the usual saviour of Barca, the Argentine hadn't saved his team for a while with a decisive goal. Since 7th March, in the match against Real Sociedad, there hadn't been a key Barca goal from the Argentine.
It was, curiously, a similar match to the one on Sunday, in which Barcelona had chances, but they didn't end up winning it until the end. That day, Barca with Quique Setién in charge, made it 1-0 in the 81st minute.
On the other hand, in spite of the criticism received and the weak season of the team, Leo reached another round figure with the goal against Levante. The goal was Leo's 600th goal since he became Barca number 10. In that time, Barcelona have scored 1889 goals, so Leo has scored 31.7% of the team's goals since he has been their number 10.
A spectacular figure, which shows the relevance that the Argentine has had in the team's play during the last 12 seasons and which continues to make him capital for the short term successes of the club.
