Edouard Mendy at Chelsea is soon to come to its end. The Senegalese shot-stopper arrived in London in 2020 from Stade Rennais for €24 million.
The 'keeper quickly became accustomed to life as the Chelsea number 1, but since Thomas Tuchel left last September, he's lost his place in the starting line-up to Kepa Arrizabalaga.
After picking up a shoulder injury after the 2022 World Cup, Mendy has not made one appearance for the club in 2023, despite getting back in the group.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the ex-Stade Rennais man could leave Chelsea at the end of the season if an tempting offer comes in for the two parties. Nonetheless, the coach's decision will be final.
It's worth noting that Edouard Mendy signed with agency Lian Sports last week, meaning his new agent will be Fali Ramadani.
