Porto striker Mehdi Taremi is followed closely by AC Milan to continue to strengthen Stefano Pioli's attack. Milan have already signed Divock Origi and renewed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but they want more, 'Record' reports.
Taremi has just had a terrific season in which he scored 27 goals, becoming the best striker of the year and Portuguese champions with Porto. The 'Rossoneri' are considering offering around 26 million euros for his signing, but in Portugal they report that it will be refused because they think it is insufficient. Taremi has a contract until 2026 with a buyout clause of 60 million euros.
Apparently, it will be difficult to persuade the 30 year-old Iranian international to move from Porto to Milan because of his comments. "I recommend Iranian players to come to Portugal," he said.
In Porto's last friendly, Taremi scored the first goal in the win over Monaco before being replaced by Danny Loader. Their next match is against Tondela in the Portuguese Super Cup on Saturday.
