Mates Mbappe and Benzema shake hands in tunnel

PSG's game with Real Madrid was an eagerly awaited clash between players who were set to face off on the field of play. However, there was also a much awaited greeting between two players on opposing teams in the tunnel before the match. 

Mbappe and Benzema came together and spoke to each other since they saw each other and they spoke to each other for several seconds. They covered their mouths with their hands and that has led many to speculate on what they were talking about at that moment in time. 

They are two very good friends, as they have shown in the French national team. Soon, from June, they could be together in the Real Madrid dressing room. As Mbappe has refused to renew at PSG, that could well happen.

Apparently, according to 'RMC Sport', Mbappe asked the Real Madrid striker about his injury, he jokingly called him a "liar" and the former Lyon man concluded with the phrase: "You're crazy".

Of course, Benzema, who ended up starting despite only just being fit for the game, could be the man to help Mbappe adapt as quickly as possible to the Real Madrid dressing room. And Madrid fans are desperate to see them play together.
