European players continue to be a major attraction for Saudi Arabia in the current transfer market. Several big-name players have already packed their bags and set off on their new journey to the Arabian lands. However, they will not be the last.
As reported by 'L'Equipe', Al Hilal are reportedly after Marco Verratti, who has a contract with PSG until June 2026. The player has already agreed a three-year deal, although the operation seems to be stalled.
The Parisian side asked for around 100 million euros to let the Italian leave, but only received a 30 million-euro offer from Al Hilal. An amount for which Nasser Al Khelaifi's side were not willing to let him leave.
However, the media report that the negotiations will continue and that the Arabian side will put a second, higher offer on the table. Everything suggests that Verratti's time at PSG could come to an end sooner than expected.
