Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola recently called Spurs 'the Harry Kane team', but Marcelo is under no such illusions ahead of the Wembley clash.
Kane missed the loss to Manchester United at the weekend with a hamstring problem picked up in the Carabao Cup defeat to West Ham last week but is thought to have a good chance of being fit to face Real, not that Marcelo cares.
“For me it does make a big difference if he is not fit,” said the Brazilian ahead of the game. “Kane is a very important player, but Tottenham are far more than just one player. I’ve seen many of their matches and I’ve seen Harry Kane do great things but I’ve also seen the rest of their team produce great things out on the pitch. For us the most important thing is not just to think about Kane but rather to consider the group, and be ready to take on the team as a whole.”
Should either side manage to claim three points on Wednesday they will move to the top of the group with just two games left to play.
