Man United: Sergio Romero, Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo and Diogo Dalot are all sitting out Friday's game, as are Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic. Paul Pogba, Ashley Young, Jesse Lingard and Marouane Fellaini have just returned from World Cup duties and their fitness will have to be assessed ahead of the game.
Leicester: Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire have also returned to training, but it remains to be seen if they will be inserted straight back into the starting lineup. James Maddison is fit to make his debut, but Papy Mendy isn’t available while Jonny Evans will need to undergo a late fitness test.
Mourinho: There are no miracles. The players with a proper pre-season, they are fit and they are strong. For example, Alexis has played lots of matches and lots of minutes, he is more than ready. Apart from that, we have some injuries. They [Leicester] are recently champions and after that the stability of being in the first half of the table. They are a good team, a solid team, an experienced team.
Puel: I am happy to keep Harry [Maguire] and all our best players. We lost Riyad [Mahrez], he was valuable for us but was important to keep all our best players, we want to keep a good ambition. We have spoken to Harry and the Chairman. We cannot change things just before a game and the transfer window. I'm confident he’s going to Manchester United, but only for a couple of hours with us.
