TEAM NEWS
Manchester City: Much of Pep Guardiola's side appear well-rested following the international break, with the big news being that Kevin De Bruyne has returned from injury and is now available for selection. Fabian Delph also comes back into the setup, while Gündogan, Danilo and Claudio Bravo will be sidelined with injuries.
Burnley: Joe Hart will make his long-awaited return to the Etihad Stadium following his departure to Burnley after 12 years with City - the 31-year-old may face a busy afternoon between the sticks with Manchester City the league's top scorers - but the 'Clarets' will be missing the injured Robbie Brady, Ben Gibson, Nick Pope and Stephen Ward. England international James Tarkowski is also a doubt after picking up a groin injury ahead of the international break.
Guardiola: "I think Joe [Hart] is undoubtedly important to the club. Tomorrow we will see how appreciated he is by our fans. I don't know if [De Bruyne] is able to play 90 minutes. He's trained well last two weeks. He's such an important player for us. Whenever a player is out, I like it when they come back - we will be stronger." [On Burnley having been in Europa League] "I think it always helps to play in Europe. It is more demanding physically and mentally with just three or four days to recover but if you want to take the next step as a club it is good."
Dyche: "No-one would have thought we would have got the 2-2 when we were 2-0 down there a number of years ago. No-one would have thought that, but at the end of the game we deserved it. So, can you operate? Yes. It’s probabilities and possibilities. Probably, over a season, they get the upper hand over teams like us. Possibly they don’t, and that’s what you work on in football – finding ways to win. We are a Premier League side. We are there for a reason, so we take it on and see what happens. We have to take on the challenge. You can’t go there and not be up for the challenge, because they are top class. You have to be on top of your game and that’s our main focus. We can’t guarantee results against any of these top sides, but what we can do is look to at least push towards us giving a proper performance, in our manner, to affect the game. That gives you at least a start, because if you’re not on top of your game then these sorts of sides hurt you.”
