Manchester City reject PSG offer for Bernardo Silva

Considered as Paris Saint-Germain's top priority in the midfield, the French club will have to wait a little longer to see Bernardo Silva in the Parc des Princes.
According to Scottish media outlet the 'Daily Record', Manchester City had already rejected a €70 million offer back in August, informing the French capital club that it would be impossible to find a suitable replacement for him in the near future.
In July 2023, the situation has not changed; the recent UEFA Champions League winners, who have just lost their captain Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona, do not seem prepared to release their Portuguese international... or not at any price. Despite the player's desire to move to France, the Sky Blues are blocking the transfer and want to extend his contract.
This could put an end to the three-way race between PSG, Barcelona and Saudi Arabia, barring a big offer that is unlikely to come from Catalonia. Manchester City have the upper hand as Bernardo Silva's contract runs until June 2025.
