Man Utd 'won't be busy' in January transfer window: Roche

Manchester United were likely to sign several reinforcements in both attack and defence in the January transfer window but chief Collette Roche denied the rumours on Tuesday, saying they expect not to be busy during the upcoming transfer market.
"Looking ahead to the January transfer window, we are not expecting it to be particularly busy. There will always be the possibility of deals around the edges of the squad, particularly in terms of finding opportunities for players who are not playing as much football as they would like," she said.
"We’ve seen this season that Financial Fair Play rules have real teeth, so we have to be very careful to ensure that we remain compliant, and we will. But that means being really disciplined on spending going forward, with a balance between incomings and outgoings."
As a result, Erik ten Hag's side will try to face the rest of the season with the current squad and hope to bring back the players who are injured in order to give a boost to their performances and get better results in the second half of the campaign.
