Man United vs Chelsea, PL matchday 32, 25/5/23, line-ups. BeSoccer
Join us for live coverage of the Premier League matchday 32 clash between Man United and Chelsea. Still things in play for both here, with United wanting to catch Newcastle who are up in third.
FT: MU 4-1 Chelsea. Absolute domination from the home side tonight, controlling Chelsea thanks to a Bruno penalty before Rashford was on hand to round off a great performance. Lampard's men did get one back after a great Joao Felix run, but I assume they just won't be able to wait for this season to end with just one more game to go.
GOOOAAALLL FOR CHELSEA! Joao Felix gets a consolation off the break, profitting off Man U going to sleep a bit. Take nothing away from the Portuguese man's run though, unbelievable break.
GOOOOOOALLLL FROM UNITED!!! Rashford punishes some woeful Chelsea defending there, mopping up the pass out from the back, before taking it round Kepa and finishing for 4-0.
SUBS for Chelsea: Havertz and Mudryk off for Pulisic and Joao Felix
63'
United seem to have woken up in this second half a bit here, Chelsea remaining strong for now.
59'
De Gea coming to the rescue once more after Chelsea appear to have picked up the pace here. Spanish keeper springs up to prevent it going into the top corner.
56'
Hall decked in the midfield by Wan Bissaka, straight forward foul to give there.
53'
Off the line from Kepa!! Eriksen can't quite get his body round it to kill the shot into the net, and Kepa claws away on the line.
50'
De Gea at full stretch to tip round Mudryk's shot for a corner.
47'
Bruno whacks one against the apex there after being nicely laid off by Sancho... whiskers away from really killing the game off.
HT: Man U 2-0 Chelsea. An early Casemiro goal, together with a late Martial strike take us into half-time two up. Spirited half from Lampard's men though after they conceded the first - it appeared to have kicked them into gear a bit more, before the second that was. More worringly is that Antony had to be stretchered off... could be in danger for the FA Cup final.
45'
GOOOOOAALLL FOR MAN UNITED ON THE CUSP OF HT! It's Martial this time who gets one... The Frenchman is lurking at the back stick, and thumps home the Sancho cross from very close range... surely the easiest finish he'll get all season.
45'
Gallagher goes close, but the English man drags the shot across the face of goal. Mudryk fuming he didn't box it.
38'
Mudryk tries to dance into the area, but the move eventually breaks down once United defenders get back to surround him.
32'
Bit of an end-to-end one here, with Chelsea's Havertz coming the closest. The German heads just wide at the font post.
GOOOOAAALLLL FOR UNITED! Casemiro is the one to open the scoring here at Old Trafford. Eriksen whips in a great free-kick, and the Brazilian is there to head home from close range.
4'
Don't quite know how Mudryk's missed that one.... Hall puts in a great ball across the face of goal but the Ukranian scuffs it wide! No where near the target.
2'
Chelsea under the cosh early doors here and concede a corner.

Not long to go now, with the atmosphere really taking shape at the Theatre of Dreams
As for the Blues, they're in 12th spot one point below Palace, with a win going a small way to salvaging a bit of face from what has been a dire campaign.
PRVW
United are currently fourth in the table, one point behind third placed Magpies, so a win tonight would bring them above the northerners going into the last game of the season.
Man United POSSIBLE line-ups: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Lindelof, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford
