The Old Trafford outfit are set to be rivaled by a number of other big European clubs, with Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich also chasing the precocious winger. The latter made a bid of £35 million in January, but were rejected by Chelsea.
Hudson-Odoi appears no closer to signing a new contract however, and given his current deal runs out in 2020, a number of clubs could be in for a bargain. Chelsea are keen for him to stay, but are struggling to convince the youngster that he will get adequate playing time at Stamford Bridge. He is yet to make a single Premier League start with the club, and was handed his England debut by Gareth Southgate on Friday, showing certain managers have more faith in him than others.
Bayern Munich are reportedly keen to sign Hudson-Odoi as a replacement for Arjen Robben, and would like to give him the No 10 shirt to be vacated by the Dutchman.
England manager Southgate has said: "If you look at number of appearances, he has actually been on the field quite a lot and I know how much faith Maurizio has in him. He’s maturing well. His progress is good and, given that Chelsea could have a restriction on signing people, then his opportunities will come."
