Man Utd considering giving Ronaldo's No. 7 to Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho made his first-team debut on 28th April 2022 against Chelsea after joining in 2020 from Atletico Madrid. The 18-year-old has been a surprise package this season at Old Trafford.
The striker has scored five goals and provided four assists in 34 competitive matches this campaign. He has also been included in the 100-player shortlist for the Golden Boy award in 2023.
As a result, the United board rewarded him with a renewal until 2028 but, according to several reports, the Argentina international could also have a 'hallowed' present for next term.
Erik ten Hag's team are considering giving him the No. 7 as a reward for his performances. Garnacho wears No. 49 but has always said he would like to wear No. 7 for his idol Cristiano Ronaldo. He could become the first teenage recipient of the shirt since the Portuguese star in 2003.
