Man United smile as Shaw and injured stars return to training

Shaw, Yoro and Maguire, Bayindir, and Heaton all returned to Manchester United training earlier on Friday after recovering from their respective injury. The return of the English full-back is particularly major news, as he is yet to see the pitch in 2025.
Shaw hasn't played for Man United since their 4-0 win over Everton in December, making just three appearances off the bench this season. He was due to make an earlier comeback after returning to team training in January, but a setback has postponed it indefinitely.
Meanwhile, centre-backs Yoro and Maguire were in attendance at Carrington after recovering from calf and foot injuries, respectively. The Englishman has not featured since the FA Cup defeat against Fulham on penalties, while the 29-year-old has missed the last two matches.
Goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton, who have also been sidelined in recent weeks, have also reportedly joined the group, who prepare to return to Premier League action as they face Nottingham Forest on Tuesday at the City Ground.
