Man City's Carabao success is their fourth in a row!

Champions, Champions, Champions and Champions. There is no stopping Man City in the Carabao Cup in the last four years. Pep Guardiola's men beat Tottenham to go into third spot for most trophies won as a coach. With 30 trophies, only Mircea Lucescu and Alex Ferguson have more.
The 2021 final against Spurs was one way traffic. The Sky Blues dominated from start to finish and despite having to wait 82 minutes, Laporte headed home to seal the trophy.
In 2020, City beat Aston Villa, in 2019, they defeated Chelsea and in 2018 against Arsenal. Four different opponents have been beaten by Man City and this could last a lot longer if Man City continue to have such a strong side.
In fact, they have only lost one match in those four editions which was in the semi-finals in 2020. They defeated Man Utd 1-3 in the first leg of the semi-final and then they lost 0-1 in the second game, but won 3-2 on aggregate.
The latest Carabao Cup means Man City have gone levelled with Liverpool for number of Carabaos won. The Sky Blues and Liverpool both have eight, but Liverpool have not won the trophy since 2012.
