Man City refuse to let Bernardo Silva go on loan to Barcelona

Bernardo Silva will not play for Barcelona after all. The Catalans tried to complete the signing of the Portuguese, who they wanted last summer, but he will not move to the Catalan capital after all. 

'AS' explained that Barcelona looked to get the Portuguese footballer on loan, according to sources close to the player. And they spoke with Man City to weigh up his signing. 

However, the Sky Blues were not willing to let another player go on the last day of the transfer window. The Mancunians have seen Joao Cancelo go to Bayern Munich. 

The player's intention, according to the previously cited newspaper, was to end up at Barcelona. Man City in summer were about to let him leave, but he will not go halfway through the season. 

Barcelona will not sign any players during the January transfer market. However, Hector Bellerin could move to Sporting Lisbon.
