Man City have been trying to get Mbappe for six years!

The summer transfer window is just around the corner. From June, clubs will be able to sign players ahead of next season.
Man City are looking for an attacker. And their manager Pep Guardiola is clear who his favourite player is. 'L'Equipe' says that Kylian Mbappe is one of the English club's favourite players.
The French media outlet reports that City will once again try and sign the PSG striker. It will not be the first time they will have tried to bring him to the Etihad.
The first attempt was in the 2015-16 season, even before Mbappe had signed his first professional contract. He was then playing for Monaco and Man City put in a tempting offer for him. Monaco turned it down though.
The Premier League outfit did not give up in their attempts to get him though. Guardiola ended up meeting the footballer in person, 'L'Equipe' says. The Frenchman liked the fact a coach of Pep's calibre was interested in him, but he decided to stay at Monaco.
Man City will keep on insisting though. This summer, they will have another go. They are only pone of five clubs who are capable of signing him with Real Madrid, Liverpool, Man Utd and Juventus the other four.
