Real Madrid used their match against Alaves corresponding to the 36th round of La Liga to offer the cup to their fans. This act marked the end of the celebrations for the 36th domestic league title in the history of the 'Merengue'.
The players posed with the trophy on the Santiago Bernabeu pitch. They were also accompanied by the other league titles won by the club, although the cups were not physically there, but posters with the silhouette were used.
Nacho Fernandez, as captain, was in charge of carrying the cup onto the stadium pitch. The Spaniard has thus fulfilled another dream, just as he did the other day in the Plaza de Cibeles when he placed the scarf on the goddess.
Meanwhile, Alaves showed their respect for the champions and made the classical 'pasillo' to recognise the Chamartin club for their victory.
