Madrid-Arsenal deal for Odegaard

Martin Odegaard will return to the Emirates Stadium. The Norwegian player will now leave Real Madrid for a team that already had him last season, Arsenal.
According to market journalist Fabrizio Romano, the negotiations between the Spanish and English clubs have reached a successful conclusion.
The deal between Real Madrid and Arsenal, pending official confirmation, has been concluded for just under 40 million euros, with a five-season contract with the Gunners.
Odegaard has not been in Zinedine Zidane's plans in the past and has not been in Carlo Ancelotti's plans at present. The Italian coach has barely used the Norwegian in preparation matches, and in the league opener he was not even called up.
For the second day in a row, the player was not in Carlo Ancelotti's session, which is a foretaste of his departure as he does not have any physical problems.
Odegaard could therefore become a new Arsenal player in the next few hours. In fact, Mikel Arteta wants him as soon as possible to make his debut in this weekend's match against Chelsea.
It is worth remembering that the Norwegian already played for Arsenal last season. On that occasion it was on loan, while this time it will be as a tranfer.
