Mac Allister not in talks to join Liverpool

Liverpool want to strengthen their midfield for next season but have ruled out Jude Bellingham due to his high transfer fee. As a result, the Reds are considering cheaper alternatives.

Several media outlets have reported in recent days the possible move of James Milner to Brighton & Hove Albion and it was rumoured that the two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement to swap the Englishman for Alexis Mac Allister.

However, according to the 'Daily Mail', the two teams have not yet been in contact for transfer negotiations. The same media outlet reports that the World Cup winner is likely to join the Reds but talks have not started.

Mac Allister is outstanding this season at Brighton and is a key player for Roberto De Zerbi as he has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in 34 competitive matches.
