One Manchester United fan had at least something to smile about following Saturday's defeat to West Ham as full-back Luke Shaw went out of his way to give her his shirt.

Many players hid and went straight down the tunnel after Manchester United's 3-1 defeat away at West Ham, however not Luke Shaw.

Shaw was one of few Manchester United players to walk over and thank the fans for making the long journey down from Manchester to the capital.

The 23-year-old has been one of United's few bright notes so far this season and insisted the players must take responsibility for the 'horrendous' defeat.
