Luis Suarez had goal chalked off by VAR for fractional offside!

Atletico Madrid wanted to get the job done early on against Elche. Simeone's men were looking to take advantage of Barca's slip up to show that they are the favourites for the title. 

Luis Suarez missed a one on one chance after a lovely backheel by Correa and he was once again involved in the 0-1 goal which dfid not count. 

The Uruguayan hit home a killer pass by Marcos Llorente to put a Gazzaniga who was out of his goal. However, the former Barca player was offside. 

It was a terrrible error by Suarez as he was too eager and even though the on field team led by Mario Melero Lopez missed it, the VAR detected it and the goal did not count. Elche were still 0-0 at least for a few minutes until Marcos Llorente netted for the away side.
