After the goal disallowed by VAR, Marcos Llorente gave Atletico Madrid the lead. They scored thanks to a great move by Carrasco, who got away from his marker, hit a powerful cross and then set up Marcos Llorente to score. The ball hit Josema of Elche and then went in.

Atletico Madrid are involved in a La Liga title race. You can tell there is a title up for grabs every time they play.

Proof of that was the goal they scored against Elche. The disallowed Suarez goal for a very tight offside did not knock Atletico's confidence. In fact, Atletico scored again just a few minutes later.

Marcos Llorente scored it. But half of the goal was down to Carrasco who made a great move down the left flank and put in a ball for him to shoot.

The ball deflected off Elche's Josema and it went in off the post.
