Lucas Vazquez to renew at Real Madrid until 2024

Lucas Vazquez's future has been uncertain over the course of last season at Real Madrid. He has always been important for Zinedine Zidane and the versatile footballer has been in lengthy talks with the club on renewing his contract which expires at the end of June.
Throughout these months, the Spaniard seemed to be more out than in the club and there was talk of him going to Bayern Munich or AC Milan.
The serious injury he suffered in the last 'Clasico' did his prospects no good, but now the player is very close to putting pen to paper.
According to 'COPE' and 'Marca', Real Madrid and the footballer have reached an agreement to extend his contract for another three seasons. In other words, until the end of the 2023-24 season.
Real Madrid, aware of Lucas Vazquez's importance in the squad over the years, have not wanted to miss out on a footballer who, despite having offers, always had staying at Real Madrid as a priority.
Although it's still not official, there is an agreement between both parties and it just needs to be rubberstamped in the coming days. The 29 year-old player will be able to keep on winning games and possiblty titles in the Spanish capital. He has made 240 appearances for the club so far.
