The announcement is approaching, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. Alexis Mac Allister is about to make the move to Liverpool after three seasons with Brighton.
The medical tests will take place on Tuesday or Wednesday, and once they are completed, the Argentinian will sign a long-term contract with the Reds until June 2028. The whole deal, including the release clause, will cost Liverpool less than £60 million.
Mac Allister had a phenomenal season with the Seagulls, scoring 12 goals to help his team finish 6th in the league, securing European football for the first time in the club's history.
He was also part of the Argentinian team that brought home to World Cup in December, and for a Liverpool side that is looking to reinforce its midfield, he is the perfect option.
