German efficiency at its finest. They took an early two-goal lead with goals from Goretzka, before Werner made it three in the second half. Fabian scored the goal for Mexico in the closing stages, and Younes made it four just moments later. Germany are through to the final of the Confederations Cup where they will meet Chile on Sunday.

Game over for Mexico. Germany have looked better in this second half. Lovely build-up play, and Draxler threads an inch-perfect ball into the box for left-back Hector who sees Werner in the middle, and the striker finishes at ease into an empty net.

Werner is clearly through on goal, and Moreno gets back to give the striker a push to put him off, and it works as his finish works it's way across the face of the goal. The Leipzig man is appealing for a penalty.

Chicharito should have done better when he opened the ball for Jimenez out wide. The striker was forced to cut onto his weaker left foot and his effort was blocked by the keeper.

Germany took an early lead thanks to a double from Goretzka. Mexico responded brilliantly, putting Germany under pressure and deserving at least one goal in their favour.

Germany have looked comfortable in the opening 30 minutes, but they do seem slightly relaxed at times. They have no trouble in getting behind Mexico's defence when needed though.

The German keeper got down well to deny Gio again when he was through on goal, and then Jonathan Dos Santos headed at goal again only for the keeper to save easily.

Draxler lost the ball to Giovanni Dos Santos at the edge of the area, and the Mexican fired a low shot just wide of the right post.

Mexico's plan involves looking for crosses into the box in order to get back into the match. Germany, on the other hand, are patiently waiting to kill the Mexicans on the break.

The keeper avoids his team going three behind after Henrichs' fed the ball through to Werner. The striker powered the ball low at goal and wins a corner.

Low's team knocking the ball around confidently in Mexico's half, Kimmich's through ball is finally sent behind for a corner.

Not a bad response from Mexico, who have hogged the ball and are getting close to Ter Stegen.

Mexico were taken aback by the first goal after a good start to the match, and Goretzka causes heartbreak for the Mexicans with a second. Ochoa could have done better in both instances.

The Germans are unstoppable. And it's Goretzka again. Werner played the through ball for the midfielder inside the box, and the Schalke man finished past the keeper at ease.
