Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival at Juventus has gone down perfectly with Paulo Dybala. The Argentine's performances were dipping a little until CR7 arrived in Turin, but everyone has upped their game since the Portuguese star came. Especially in attack and especially this season.
The Argentine is one of those who has best adapted to the Portuguese's signing. Dybala shone last season as he usually does and this term he has been at his best once again.
According to 'Tuttosport', Paulo Dybala has begun conversations with Juventus to sign a long term contract with the Bianconeri. The Italian media outlet says that the Argentine could become the new Alessandro Del Piero and that would even offer him a "semi-lifelong" contract.
When football was halted by the coronavirus, Dybala had scored 13 goals and got nine assists, numbers which were better than last season and there was still a lot of the season left to play. But it is not just a matter of statistics, the way he was playing was also much better.
Therefore, Juventus have apparently accelerated the process regarding Dybala's new contract. He and the rest of his teammates agreed to take a paycut because of the coronavirus crisis, a coronavirus which Dybala himself has suffered.
