England versus Denmark was not a walk in the park as many England fans thought it would be at Wembley. Damsgaard's goal to make it 0-1 put England on the ropes and Southgate's men levelled after lovely play by Kane.
The Tottenham striker contributed in a more unusual way. He left his position to receive the ball further away from goal. He turned and found Saka on the right flank who had got in behind the Danish defence.
Then Saka's cross for Sterling in the middle beat Schmeichjel and Kjaer, in an act of desperation, turned the ball into his own net in his attempt to prevent the English player shooting.
The equaliser was a fair score in a fairly even first period, possibly more than what the teams or people may have imagined.
