Juventus player Arkadiusz Milik will be out for at least two weeks due to an injury in his left thigh which he suffered in the matchday 20 clash against Monza on Sunday.
"This Mondau, Milik underwent x-rays which showed a medium grade injury in the semimembranous muscle in his left thigh. In two weeks, he will be submitted to more tests to determine the exact time of recovery," Juventus said in a statement.
The 'Bianconeri' were beaten 0-2 by Monza after being deducted 15 points and now they have lost a key player in attacker. At least they got back Dusan Vlahovic for the Monza game. He started on the bench in that one.
Furthermore, Paul Pogba is expected to play next weekend. Pogba has still not played since his return to Turin and he missed the World Cup in Qatar with a right leg injury not long after coming back from a knee injury which had kept him out since July.
Juventus are 13rd on 23 points, 12 points above the bottom three and 15 points off the Champions League spots.
In fact, coach Max Allegri was clear in the press conference after the Monza defeat. "It's the reality. We have to get points to stay up. It's a delicate moment, but I don't feel alone."
