James Rodriguez edges closer to PSG

By the looks of things, the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, has already told the French side James will sign. The Colombian therefore has one foot in Paris.
The only thing missing would be an agreement between both clubs. Real Madrid will only negotiate offers of over 75 million euros, while PSG are not willing to bid more than 60.
Rodriguez's move to PSG could be doubly beneficial for Unai Emery's team, as a big signing to create a competitive squad could convince Verratti to stay.
Also, PSG could afford to meet Real Madrid's 75 million asking price thanks to the whopping amount they would hypothetically receive for the Italian midfielder.
