Real Madrid had been struggling to find a breakthrough against a stubborn Celta Vigo side before Isco found the net with his first goal for the club since a Copa del Rey clash in December.
Totally out of Santiago Solari's plans, Isco finally had a smile back on his face as he broke the deadlock at the Bernabeu, seemingly picking up from where he has left off under Zidane back in 2017-18.
Isco was a surprise inclusion in the Frenchman's starting line-up, with left-back Marcelo and goalkeeper Keylor Navas also returning to the side in place of Sergio Reguilon and Thibaut Courtois respectively. Gareth Bale made the starting line-up as well, meaning the Real Madrid team resembled the one of recent years.
And after scoring, Isco dedicated his goal to his first child and partner, sucking his thumb and applauding.
