'Mundo Deportivo' reports that Inter Milan have contacted the agent of Miralem Pjanic, who is on loan at Besiktas from Barcelona, to find out if he is available for next season. The Spaniards would be keen to sell him, but his market value has been falling over the last few seasons.
The days when Miralem Pjanic was triumphing with Juventus are gone. He signed for Barcelona, was in the background, which led to some friction with Ronald Koeman and now, on loan at Besiktas, it is likely that he will be transferred in the summer. Inter Milan, according to 'Mundo Deportivo', are his only suitors at the moment.
The 'Nerazzurri' have already contacted his agent to find out his availability. As he has a contract until 2024, the Spanish club board have a lot to say in these talks, although Inter members have spoken to the midfielder's agent, who will probably have told them the same thing as the newspaper report mentioned in the previous paragraph: that he is transferable.
The priority for Joan Laporta will be to get the most out of the hypothetical sale of Pjanic, although it will not be easy. His market value is around eleven million euros. He has been devalued a lot since he left Turin, which, by the way, sounded to recruit him, but was left out of the bidding because the 'Vecchia Signora' did not want to pay half of his salary in order to sign him on loan.
Besiktas did accept such conditions and that is why the Bosnian is currently playing in the Turkish League. He has not been starting lately, but overall he has started 21 times in the 26 matches he has played in. He has also provided four assists.
