Inter guarantee goals with Dzeko's renewal

Inter Milan managed to make some good performances during the first months of the 2022-23 campaign. Simone Inzaghi's side reached the last 16 of the Champions League despite being in fifth place in Serie A.

These stats were due to Edin Dzeko's goalscoring ability. He has scored ten goals in 26 competitive matches this season. The Bosnian footballer is playing his last season, as his contract expires in June.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello sport', Inter Milan want to reward Edin Dzeko's great season with a renewal offer.

The same media outlet reports that the deal could be closed in the coming weeks during the World Cup in Qatar. Edin Dzeko will have the option of keeping up his good form for one more season before leaving the Italian club.
