In PSG's 5-0 win over Celtic on Tuesday night, Neymar Jr once again went to ground theatrically before being booked by referee Daniele Orsato for his protests.
A part of his game which, according to Celtic defender Mikael Lustig, the £198m man must change if he is to be globally adored the way former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi is.
‘I think he’s probably up there already with Messi and (Cristiano) Ronaldo, he’s so sharp, such an amazing footballer', the Swede said. ‘But, if he wants to be liked as much as Messi, he needs to stop that'
‘It was the same as usual, though, from Neymar', Lustig said about the game in Glasgow. ‘He is such an unbelievable footballer but we have seen the other stuff before, and we will see it again'.
The Celtic defender branded Neymar 'football's biggest actor' earlier this year, as he strongly believes the forward needs to curb his behaviour in order to fulfill his potential.
‘I have said before that it’s part of his game. He tries to over-react a bit to make the defender step off. We are going to see it again and again', he warned.
