If Chelsea land Rice, Jorginho would go to Arsenal

On the 5th October, the transfer window will close. And at Chelsea they are working flat out: no transfers are ruled out ... neither are any departures.

'The Mirror' claim that Chelsea want to seal the deal for Declan Rice before the end of the summer transfer window. It won't be easy, especially given that the latest reports suggest that West Ham wouldn't be willing to let him go, even if they received a 90 million euro offer.

But the Blues are confident that they will give in. The newspaper points out that, if they managed to get West Ham to say "yes", the player sacrificed would be Jorginho. The midfielder would go to Arsenal, a club that has been tracking the Brazilian for a long time.
