"I wanted to win my first title since I made my debut"

Barcelona midfielder Gavi was the player who stood out the most in the Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid. The match ended 1-3 for Xavi Hernandez's side.

"We dominated possession a lot. The coach planned the game very well and we had everything very clear. I'm very happy for the victory. I feel I'm in good form but I have to keep improving," Gavi said.

"It is a final and therefore we have celebrated it to the fullest. I wanted to win my first title since I made my debut," he added.
